For this student task, I was involved in an artwork design project for the debut of the band RAT CATS. Known for their fearless integration of sounds and samples from diverse styles in their arrangements, RAT CATS' tracks are mostly characterized by loop patterns that are broken up by disturbances and irregularities.

The approach for the artwork design was to merge a rat and a cat together using a liquefying effect. By merging these two distinct animals, they appeared as a cohesive creature. The typography on the cover is in a vibrant magenta hue, placed behind the head to achieve a sense of depth. To further illustrate the band's irregularities and loop patterns, a glitch effect was added as a defect on the cover.

The back cover also uses the same font and incorporates liquefied text. This design was intended to convey the band's experimental and unconventional style. Through this artwork design, the band's identity and sound are represented in a visually stunning manner, creating a captivating visual experience for the audience.
